Food-on-a-Stick - Korea and the World

Thanks to SE:Talk, we learned that it's Something on a Stick Day. What qualifies as a stick-food? The Minnesota State Fair, for example, sells 60 different foods on a stick, ranging from corn on the cob to spaghetti. In Seoul, South Korea, you can find street vendors selling Tornado Potato, a swirl-cut potato wrapped around a long stick that's deep-fried. Speaking of deep-fried, we've also seen french-fry-coated bacon on a stick, rice-battered hot dogs, and in Ecuador, "chuzos" are deep-fried sausage and plaintain skewers. For those celebrating at home today, here are recipes for 13 of our favorite stick-foods. In most parts of the world, it's not exactly outdoor grilling season yet, so here are some indoor tips. ◦
